Mediacurrent Named in the Top 50 Best Workplaces in Atlanta

For the second year in a row, Mediacurrent is excited to announce that we’ve been awarded a spot in the Small Company Division of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution’s 2020 Top Workplaces awards; this year we placed at number 42. This annual honor recognizes the top 150 companies to work for in Atlanta and is determined through an anonymous employee survey that measures several aspects of workplace culture, including benefits, career development, and employee engagement. 

The Top Workplaces award is a testament to the forward-thinking culture that Mediacurrent co-founders, Dave Terry and Paul Chason have created over the past 13 years. As an Atlanta digital agency with a distributed remote workforce, this recognition proves that our commitment to building a collaborative culture has paid off again.

The Back Story 

Beginning in 2007, Paul Chason and Dave Terry ( lifelong, childhood friends) noticed a need in the marketplace for digital agencies that could assist organizations with adopting an open source software based web strategy. In 2012, our team grew by 50 percent, reaching 28 staff members, and today we have a team of more than 90 talented technology and marketing professionals specializing in open source software. Dave and Paul decided early on that culture would be at the forefront of the efforts when staffing the agency.

At Mediacurrent, our culture is very important to us. We understand that culture is our only sustainable competitive advantage, so we work hard to maintain a strong team and company culture. We work hard to differentiate our culture from our competitors so that we are able to keep the most competitive team in the industry.
